Cosplay is a unique form of art that needs creativity, talent, and skill for an individual to pull off dressing up as a character amazingly. It also needs dedication and perseverance as some cosplayers spend months working on their costumes and learning about their characters. However, there are individuals who are just so incredible in their craft that they have become famous in the field.

Yaya Han

Yaya Han is considered as one of the pioneers in cosplaying. She has over two decades of experience and endless lines of costumes. Not only is she an expert, but she also plays the judge in competitions all over the globe.

Her passion for cosplay started when she attended the Anime Expo in 1999. She has come a long way from then and already has several appearances on television, particularly in King of the Nerds. She was also one of the featured cosplayers on Syfy’s Heroes of Cosplay.

Spiral Cats is an all-female group of cosplayers who are from South Korea. It was formed in 2009 by Tasha and Ren who both work in a game development company. Later on, they were joined by new members Tomia, Miyuko, Doremi, and Ssol. The current active members of Spiral Cats are Tasha, Doremi, and Ssol.

This group is famous in several countries and is often booked by big mobile game developers such as Neowiz Games, Riot Games, Nexon, NCSOFT, and Blizzard Entertainment.

Linda Le

Linda Le is an American with Vietnamese descent and popularly known as Vampy Bit Me or Vampy. She is one of the most famous cosplayers and is also a model, an artist, and an internet celebrity.

Gosiengfiao started cosplaying at the age of 15 when her friends from Animé Club, a group of video games and animé enthusiasts, encouraged her to join competitions in Metro Manila. From then, she has made a consistent contribution to the cosplay culture in the Philippines, which led her to be invited to several cosplay conventions all over the world. She is often invited to be a performer, a participant, and a competition judge.
