Who is Zenitsu?
Zenitsu Agatsuma is a demon slayer and a traveling companion of fellow demon slayers Tanjiro Kamado and Inosuke Hashibira, as well as Tanjiro’s sister Nezuko. He uses the Breath of Thunder, which he was trained in by the former Thunder Pillar, Jigoro Kuwajima.
While he’s a fairly competent swordsman with lightning-fast technique, that prowess only comes out when he’s unconscious. He has become so good at that one technique that he can do it up to six and even eight times in rapid succession, combining godlike speed with incredible precision. When he gets serious, he becomes the very embodiment of lightning and thunder.
He does become more confident and less panicky over time, mostly due to the influence of Tanjiro’s gentleness and Inosuke’s enthusiasm for battle. He’s also driven by his desire to protect Nezuko, who he immediately fell for at first sight.
Even though Nezuko is a demon, he was so immediately lovestruck that he couldn’t care any less. When he realized Tanjiro had been carrying her on his back in the wooden box the whole time, he got mad at him for hiding a beautiful girl without realizing that she’s actually his sister.
Despite his faults, his loyalty and inner courage are what make him a trustworthy friend and ally. Underneath his cowardly exterior beats the heart of a warrior who will fight to protect his friends and make his late master proud. He’s a great example of a successful one-trick pony, a master of one.
How to look like Zenitsu?
He is a boy of average height with fair skin. Zenitsu’s most distinct physical feature is his short blonde hair, which he didn’t originally have. He had black hair, but it was turned blonde when he was struck by lightning when he climbed on top of a tree to get out of training. His hair cuts off squarely at the ends and the blonde color fades to a darker orange color, and he sports uneven bangs.
He also has fairly round eyes that make him seem meek, but they turn sharp when he fights. At first, they would be closed when he fights since he tends to fall unconscious from fright before his subconscious takes over for him. But as he starts becoming less scared, he would turn serious and fight with sharper-looking eyes.
